WWE Evolution 2025 is set to take place shortly at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, marking a significant moment as the second all-female premium live event in WWE's history. Fans are buzzing with speculation about potential surprise appearances from legendary wrestlers, especially with a Battle Royal on the card that could see some of these icons compete.

However, one notable absence will be Kelly Kelly, a beloved figure in the women's division. Despite high hopes from fans for her appearance at the event, she confirmed her non-attendance via social media.

Kelly Kelly's Response to Fans

In a response to a fan on X/Twitter, Kelly Kelly expressed her gratitude for being part of the inaugural Evolution event seven years ago. She mentioned that while she was honored to receive an invitation to attend WWE Evolution 2025, it didn't feel appropriate for her to return in that manner. Instead, she looks forward to a future opportunity to come back in a different role.

“I was so honored to be invited to Evolution II, to sit in the crowd it just didn’t feel like the right way to come back,” Kelly Kelly stated. “I’ll always be proud to have been part of the first, my heart is with every woman in that ring tomorrow. I’ll be back when the time’s right.”

Kelly Kelly participated in the first Evolution event in 2018, entering the Evolution battle royal. This year's event will also feature a similar battle royal, with the winner earning a title shot at the upcoming Clash in Paris. Notably, Nikki Bella, a former colleague of Kelly Kelly in the Divas division, is set to compete in this match.
